Within the scope of the C-130 Project where Turkey’s first national certification works are being carried out, STM, assigned as the Authority on behalf of the SSM, continues working towards Qualification Approval for Production Organization (ÜrOYO) under the C-130 Project.
At the “Information Exchange and Technology Platform Seminar” held on October 31st, 2009 at STM, Müzeyyen ALPARSLAN from the Certification Department made a presentation that gave detailed information on “UrOYO works being carried out under the C-130 project”.
In the presentation, it was emphasized that while C-130 certification works are under way within the scope of the UrOYO process being carried out by the Organization Approvals Team of the Certification Department, the requirements defined in the contract and EASA Part 21 Subpart G and relevant guidelines are being taken into consideration with regard to Qualification Approval for Production Organization.
Reminding that the works for Qualification Approval for Production Organization are carried out under 5 phases, ALPARSLAN said that the UrOYO certificate is granted after all 5 phases are successfully completed, and that the Continuous Monitoring Phase has been started in order to ensure conformity to relevant requirements throughout the project with regard to said organization.
ALPARSLAN said it has been decided following the assessment carried out in September 2008 at the TAI premises by the Certification Department’s Organization Approvals Team and relevant experts that TAI is qualified to get the UrOYO Certificate as of September 2009, and added that the Continuous Monitoring Phase was also started at that date, and that evaluation plans have already been drafted for the years 2010 and 2011.
