STM ranked the 119th in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast500 EMEA 2009 Program carried out by Deloitte to identify the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. This year’s ranking list was announced in the British Capital of London on November 24, 2009. STM achieved this rank with the 1365% growth in its net sales revenues between 2004 and 2008.

STM CEO Recep BARUT said that the 1365% growth in the company’s turnover between 2004 and 2008 was mostly due to the company allocating a huge portion of its efforts to R&D works and improvement of its technology portfolio. Recep BARUT continued as follows:”It is an important success for our company, which has risen from its 195th place in 2008 to the 119th place in 2009, to take part in this international program where 700-800 technology companies from 39 countries in the EMEA region compete and which is reputed and respected in the international arena; this award, which symbolizes the success of our employees who have worked diligently to ensure a resolved continuation of our vision, makes us proud.”
