At the conference where industry applications were discussed under 12 main categories in 50 sessions and with 200 papers, Hakan İŞÇİ from the Certification Department presented a paper on “Man Machine Interface Requirement Validation in Military Aircraft Certification” at the session on “Aerospace Operations - Aerospace Modeling & Simulation”. The paper described the authority approach in Turkey and gave information on how to study the differences between civil certification and military certification.
Furthermore, At the session on “Manufacturing/Materials/Structures - Structural Health Monitoring”, Gökhan TURSUN presented the paper on “Determination of Service life in a Poorly Designed Composite Blade” prepared by Gökhan TURSUN, Evren TAŞKINOĞLU and Hakan İŞÇİ from the Certification Department, which gave information on how to retroactively examine a damage encountered during service life and how to develop improvement suggestions. At the “Avionics - Flight Control Systems” session, Hakan İŞÇİ presented the paper prepared by Doruk AKYILDIZ and Hakan İŞÇİ on “Flight Test Requirements for Mechanically Actuated Electrically Driven Autopilot Servo-actuator Upgrade”. The paper addressed the flight tests required in order to examine the effect on flight control systems of replaced servos directly connected to flight control systems in autopilot modernizations.
