PORSUK EGM - Eskişehir Technical University Aircraft Procurement Project

Within the scope of the Training Aircraft Procurement (Porsuk) Project initiated by the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) for Eskişehir Technical University (ESTÜ), a contract was signed between SSB and STM on 7 September 2023 for the procurement of seven training aircraft from abroad to meet ESTÜ’s training aircraft requirements. The contract also includes ground support equipment, spare parts, and training for pilots and technicians.

Delivery of two twin-engine Diamond DA42NG training aircraft was completed in March 2024, while the delivery of five single-engine Tecnam P2010 aircraft took place between May and July 2024. Thanks to STM’s extensive expertise in procurement, all seven aircraft were successfully delivered to the relevant university and faculty within a period of nine months.

As of 1 August 2024, deliveries were finalized for 126 items of ground support equipment, spare parts, and maintenance consumables for the twin-engine aircraft, and 149 items for the single-engine aircraft.

Training programs for pilots and technicians were conducted between November 2023 and March 2024. STM continues to fulfill its contractual obligations during the two-year warranty period for the aircraft.
