STM TENGİZ is the largest member of STM’s Autonomous Unmanned Underwater Family. Positioned in the Extra Large Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (XLUUV) category, it is a high-autonomy platform designed to execute tactical, operational, and strategic missions without the need for an onboard operator. Its modular architecture allows for seamless optimization to meet diverse operational requirements.
System Architecture: The platform's architecture is built upon the integration of physically independent sections. These discrete modules comprise advanced sensor suites, high-capacity energy units, propulsion systems, communication nodes, and mission-oriented auxiliary payloads (including weapon systems, external sensors, and sub-UUV units).
Operational Capabilities: Equipped with sophisticated sensor suites for comprehensive sub-surface and surface situational awareness, TENGİZ possesses the capability to deploy heavy and very light torpedoes, execute mine-laying operations, and perform Mine Countermeasures (MCM). Utilizing a "mothership" configuration, the platform is engineered to house, deploy, and coordinate the STM NETA 300 autonomous underwater vehicle and the ALPAGUT smart loitering munition system according to specific operational requirements.
Network-Centric Warfare:TENGİZ offers full network-centric warfare capabilities through its ADVENT Command and Control architecture, which is fully compliant with NATO STANAG 4817 (Multi-Domain Control Station) standards.
Integrated Communication:The platform features an integrated communication infrastructure, utilizing expendable fiber-optic buoys and Satellite Communication (SATCOM) systems to ensure seamless data transmission and operational coordination.
Strategic Transportability:With dimensions compatible with a 40-foot ISO container, TENGİZ provides superior ease of strategic transport. It can be deployed and recovered (LARS - Launch and Recovery System) via cranes at port facilities or from logistics support vessels.
Operational Versatility:TENGİZ is fully compatible with the well-deck operations of major platforms such as the TCG ANADOLU (LHD). Its capability for autonomous entry and exit from well-decks provides a significant multi-dimensional logistical integration advantage.
