Helicopter Visual Landing Aid System (HVLAS)
Jointly developed by STM and Berkin Defence, HVLAS is an advanced visual guidance and deck illumination system designed to enable helicopters to approach and land safely on naval platforms. The system provides pilots with safe operational capability under both day and night conditions, and even in low-visibility environments.
Developed through indigenous and national means, HVLAS is engineered to be integrated into various military surface platforms, including corvettes, frigates, logistic support ships, and tankers. Thanks to its proprietary software, the system can operate its components in optimal configurations, significantly reducing pilot workload.
HVLAS has been integrated into a total of 12 warships both domestically and internationally.
