Türkiye’nin bir Asya Pasifik ülkesine gerçekleştirdiği İLK Korvet İhracatı

STM has been selected as the main contractor to construct three Littoral Mission Ships (LMS) for the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).

STM, as main contractor, will be responsible for all phases of the project starting from design to the performance, from construction to the delivery of the ships.

STM will undertake ship design, project management including construction management, materials/systems procurement, integration design and assembly, tests and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activities, as well as the preparation of design and ILS documents related to the Project.

Three corvettes that has been designed and tailored by STM to meet the requirements of The Royal Malaysian Navy will be construct in Türkiye within the scope of the Littoral Mission Ship Batch-2 (LMSB2) Project.

STM Littoral Mission Ship (LMSB2) is a highly flexible and proven platform complying with modern naval norms, standards and classification society rules. Capabilities of similar combat platforms of STM in terms of safety, performance, reliability and ease of maintenance have been tested and proved themselves during the operations on open and coastal seas under heavy sea conditions.

LMS can be tasked with a wide range of duties including ASUW, AAW, Asymmetric Warfare (ASYW) and EW by means of her most advanced Sensors & Weapons Suite and Command & Control System.

As part of the project, the construction and outfitting of the ships will be carried out in Türkiye with the heavy involvement of Turkish Defense Industry companies. As main contractor, STM is going to use Turkish Defence Industry Products, such as Combat Management System, 76 mm Gun Fire Control System which will be supplied by HAVELSAN while 3D Search Radar, Fire Control Radar, IFF, 30mm Gun, ESM and Chaff Decoy System and other electronic sensors will be supplied by ASELSAN. ATMACA Surface-to-Surface G/M System will be supplied by ROKETSAN.
