Logistics Support Ship is a double-hull vessel, designed for providing logistics support to the ships at sea in terms of dry and liquid cargo both during peace and war, equipped with conventional all dieasel-CPP propulsion system, conforming naval norms/standards and classification rules.

Peacetime:
- Providing Dry and Liquid Cargo Logistics Support to Ships at Sea
- Conducting Search & Rescue Operations Through Helicopter Deployed on Board
Wartime:
- Providing Dry and Liquid Cargo Logistics Support to Ships at Sea
- Conducting Search & Rescue Operations Through Helicopter Deployed on Board
- Providing Limited Medical Support to Ships at Sea
Capabilities:
- Replenishment at Sea During Day and Night, Including HIFR
- Providing Adequate Support to Organic Helicopter Operations
- Future Installation Possibility for Defence-Purpose Modern, Multidimensional Sensor/Weapon Suites
- Defence Capability against Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Threats
